The Barrett Industries Group produces asphalt emulsions and polymer modified emulsions, which are used in virtually every type of pavement preservation including surface treatments, cold mixes, recycling and tack coats. 

The Barrett Industries Group holds AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) accreditation for Emulsified Asphalt testing. 

Innovation drives our product development

At Barrett Industries, we formulate new products using select raw materials and then test them extensively in our in-house laboratories and testing facilities. From there, we manufacture them using state-of-the-art plants and equipment. 

Examples of product development include FastTack^®, which is used to aid asphalt pavement adhesion to underlying surfaces, and FiberMat^®, a fiberglass-reinforced binding layer used with a traditional chip seal.
